It seems that the garden has been infested with tiny flower fairies.
They arrived earlier this week, one by one.
First to arrive were the rather sweet strawberry fairies. The other fairies in the garden were rather pleased as they seemed very good at growing plump, juicy ,strawberries, with a wave of their tiny wands. (Strawberries are a favourite of fairies)
Soon more and more fairies began to flutter by.
Apparently these tiny fae were on their way to the May Day Ball. They had been flying from all around the country and needed somewhere to rest.
Now of course the idea of a ball got the garden fairies very excited.
However they were not so happy when they found out it was only for the tiny flower fairies.
To cheer the girls up I promised that they would be able to hold their own ball at the bottom of the garden.
They have not yet set a date for the ball as they have so much to arrange and prepare.
So they preparations have begun, decorations are being made, and party dresses have been ordered!
