A walk in the park

There is nothing like going for a walk in the park on a beautiful sunny day.
Tootles and Tallulah decided that they needed some fresh air ( and also wanted to see if they could spot any of our local parakeets ).

We set of on our journey enjoying the warmth of the day.

The fairies were a little nervous crossing the bridges and make me check for trolls before they would flit across!

A couple of times Tootles thought she spotted other fairies amongst the flowers but they must have been rather shy as they didn't come out to say hello.

The girls spent a lot of time up in the trees hunting for the parakeet but other than a quick glimpse of a couple flying overhead they didn't find any to chat with.

When I was a little girl I loved visiting 'the fairy steps' to run, play and search for fairies. For a few  years they had been unloved and uncared for so it was nice to go back and find they had been tidied up and made into a magical place once more.

.
The fairies think that too many people just walk around to get form here to there, and that they don't take the time to look and look down to see the beauty all around them.

Maybe the fairies have inspired you to go out and look at the beauty that can be found.
Maybe you might be able to spot some fairies at play.
