Yarn bombing!

The fairies have been very busy out in the sunshine this morning. They have been inspired by the lovely ladies at The Craft Club. who are busy getting ready for a world record yarn bomb based on the Enid Blyton book, The Magic Faraway Tree. This is to happen at Little Havens Hospice on 24th August.

Two of the fairies sisters flew off a few weeks ago to join in and be part of this magical yarn bomb and took some flowers and butterflies with them.

When they woke up this morning the fairies who had stayed behind in our garden decided they didn't want to be left out from all the fun and would do a spot of yarn bombing of their own to brighten up the place.

First garlands of buttons were strung out, it was then decided that more needed to be made but this time they needed the addition of bells.

Then flowers, flowers and more flowers (apparently there are not enough flowers in my garden and the fairies want more).

By the end of the morning everywhere was very colourful and the fairies were very happy with all they had done.
The girls have agreed that we have a few more bits and pieces left over to post to The Craft Club. Anyone else who loves to hook can also help, details can be found through the link to The Craft Club's facebook page  x x
